    Decription

    It's my first time to use API to do data visualization design, and it is really chanlleging for me. I spend a lot of time on the NEWS API, and it turns out that the NEWS API is not access to p5 environment, so I followed my classmates to use the NYT API, that worked, but when I want to load the specific data point as a parameter, the problems became that I don't know how to use the real-time data as a value to add it in a class, because I want to change each words with different font size, and I don't know how to type the new word with new text size instead of reloading the whole array of new text size. So that is the biggest problem in this project. I want to add the user in the process, to let the user type the content of the poem but the size of font which represents the information stream showing on the publishment media is control by the time of frequency of occurrence of the word to indicate that what you could see usually is not what you want to see but it is what the media what you to see.     Reflection

    When we know that the process of data collection and procedue is shaped by the exiting rules in the world we should admit that the data might be anti-feminism because of the old methods we ues to deal with data. So when we have the raw data we should consider what kind of the aspect should be shown in which way, just to make the result and the feeling more objective and authentic without the bias from the invisible influence of those undeveloped technology field. For this project, i want to use a very simple way to use the size of text to show the frequency of key word in the New York Times, the more it appears the bigger it will be. And the user will control "what is the content", but the attention of different topic will be influenced by media, if they don't want you to see, the text will be really small, and it will also push something "they want you to believe" in a large size. That is how media controls how we get inforation.
